New featured items added as some end Wednesday in FightingSioux.com auction

Week three of the FightingSioux.com Spring Auction starts tomorrow with new items added, as the auctions for the week one featured items end.

Week three will feature gameday experiences to all of the 2010 home Fighting Sioux Football games. Gameday experience highlights include: riding the bus to the Alerus Center with the football team, walking with the team through tailgate alley and two sideline passes for the game. Autographed memorabilia going up for auction this week include helmet and football signed by Jim Kleinsasser, Weston Dressler and Chris Kuper. The items will be up for auction starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, and will end Wednesday, May 12, at 3 p.m.

Auction items that end Wednesday afternoon include a 2009-10 men's hockey jersey autographed by the team and a set of bleachers from the old Engelstad Arena, some of which are autographed by members of the 2000 national championship team.

The University of North Dakota launched the FightingSioux.com Spring Scholarship Auction on Wednesday, April 14. This is a unique opportunity for fans and friends of Fighting Sioux athletics to bid on autographed items, game-worn apparel, gameday experiences, opportunities to travel with UND teams and much, much more.

Throughout the duration of the auction a variety of items will be available from all areas of UND athletics. To view auction items go to www.fightingsioux.com and click on the Auction tab. All proceeds from the FightingSioux.com Spring Scholarship Auction will go towards the funding of scholarships for UND student-athletes.
