GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The University of North Dakota tennis team closes out the regular season this weekend with two matches on the road. The Fighting Sioux head to Omaha, Neb., for a game against Creighton on Saturday. The Sioux close the year at Great West Conference foe South Dakota on Sunday.
"I think we're playing as good of tennis as we have all year," head coach Tom Wynne said. "The last eight matches we've had have all been really solid."
UND has won the last six of eight matches, losing by only one against Seattle and Southern Utah.
"We're right there with the team we need to play with," Wynne said. "The Great West will be an interesting (conference tournament). ... It will be a whole bunch of teams in the mix."
The Great West Conference is set for April 30-May 1 in Chicago, Ill.
