Fans can hear Fighting Hawks sports across the state, globally

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Fans, your Fighting Hawks are on the air! With the 2022-23 athletic season in full swing, North Dakota Athletics has unveiled the 2022-23 Home of Economy Radio Network for the chance to listen to all UND hockey, football, men's and women's basketball games as well as select soccer, volleyball and softball contests.

iHeart Media's built-in group of stations throughout North Dakota, with available signals in Minot, Bismarck and Dickinson as well as the flagship in Grand Forks has help secure the Home of Economy Radio Network's reach throughout the region and state with an emphasis on carrying all UND hockey and football games.

Midwest Radio in Fargo remains the home of North Dakota football, hockey and basketball having signed a new contract to be the working partner to bring Fighting Hawks sports to the Fargo Moorhead Metro and beyond. Midwest Radio's committed team offer opportunities to reach fans beyond just game-day broadcasts including appearances on the Mighty 790 Morning Show, the Joel Heitkamp Show and the Jack Michaels Show on KNFL to name a few.

New to the regional network is DeLaHunt Broadcasting based in Park Rapids, Minn. and headed by brothers David and Butch, with Butch being a University of North Dakota alum. DeLaHunt will begin bringing UND hockey through Lakes Country and central Minnesota station networks.

Multiple familiar voices will be back on the air calling all the action, with Tim Hennessy returning for hockey once again. Joining him on the call for home games is former UND defenseman Travis Dunn while Darrin Looker will serve as the color commentator for road hockey contests.

Jack Michaels is back as the voice of UND football, joined by the familiar crew of Tom Dosch in the booth and Paul Ralston on the sidelines. The veteran broadcaster will also call women's basketball, while Ralston will once again serve as the voice of men's basketball and the host for Hawk Talk, a weekly show highlighting UND Athletics from Hugo's 506 Pub in downtown Grand Forks.

Fans will also be able to listen to any iHeart station, have access to archived shows and new podcasts across the globe with the mobile app.
