Academic Services
The University of North Dakota’s Athletics Department is proud of the academic excellence of its student-athletes whose athletic achievements are matched by academic distinction each year. The UND Athletics Advising team strives to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all student-athletes, enabling them to excel academically, personally and socially to ultimately enhance their post-college success.

From recruitment through graduation, student-athletes receive academic guidance from assigned advisors who track their progress and ensure NCAA eligibility. These advisors work closely with other campus advisors to provide cohesive support for their chosen majors. They assist with major changes, ensuring adherence to NCAA benchmarks and support new and prospective student-athletes during recruitment and orientation. Our office facilitates communication between coaches and student-athletes regarding academic resources and important deadlines.

Our athletic academic advisors are located inside the Burian Family Academic Center within the Hyslop at Memorial Village.
