GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- North Dakota Athletics announced on Tuesday that its student-athletes have once again excelled academically, achieving a remarkable 3.451 overall departmental GPA for the spring semester. This achievement marks the 32nd consecutive semester that UND's athletic department has maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, highlighting the unwavering dedication of UND's student-athletes to both their academic and athletic pursuits.
On the individual side, 298 finished the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, accounting for an impressive 84% of our student-athlete population. Notably, 87 student-athletes, representing 25% of our student-athletes, achieved a perfect 4.0 semester GPA. In addition, 47 student-athletes currently hold a cumulative 4.0 GPA, demonstrating their consistent excellence in their academic endeavors.
Further showcasing their academic prowess, 83 student-athletes were named to the President's Honor Roll, recognizing those who have achieved a GPA of 3.8 or higher. Additionally, 65 student-athletes earned a place on the Dean's List, which honors those with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.79.

"Their ability to balance the demands of rigorous academic programs with the pressures of collegiate athletics is truly commendable. These achievements are a testament to the hard work of our student-athletes, the support of our coaching staff, and the resources provided by our academic support services."
