Student-athletes dominate classroom in Fall 2025 semester

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota student-athletes were once again dominant both on the field and in the classroom during the fall semester, posting a 3.446 overall department GPA, as announced by the athletic department on Thursday.

Individually, 309 finished the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, which accounts for an impressive 84% of student-athletes at UND. The department saw 93 student-athletes, representing 25%, finishing with a 4.0 semester GPA. Additionally, a whopping 57 student-athletes currently hold a cumulative 4.0 GPA over their academic careers.
 
This semester the department had 59 student-athletes named to the President's Honor Roll, recognizing those who have achieved a GPA of 3.8 or higher. In addition, 84 student-athletes earned a place on the Dean's List, which honors those with a GPA between 3.5-3.79.
 
This marks the 35th consecutive semester that North Dakota student-athletes have posted an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher – a streak that spans back the entirety of the department's Division I tenure (2008-present).
