GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Senior golfer Nathan Peyerl was named Summit League Men's Golf Peak Performer of the Week for the third time in his career, as announced by the league office on Thursday morning. 

Peyerl helped North Dakota finish eighth at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate by leading the charge and finishing tied for 15th at 214. After opening the tournament with a 76, Peyerl closed the week with consecutive rounds in the 60s and climbed into the top 15 of a strong field.

This is Peyerl's first honor of the season and third of his career after winning one each of the last two seasons. This is also UND's second honor this season.
