GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- It was once again another strong semester in the classroom for University of North Dakota student-athletes, posting a 3.433 overall department GPA, as announced by the athletic department on Thursday.
Individually, 280 finished the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, which accounts for 82% of student-athletes at UND. The department also saw 92 of those student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester. Additionally, 48 student-athletes currently hold a cumulative 4.0 GPA over their entire academic careers.
UND also celebrated 75 student-athletes on the Dean's List while an additional 74 were selected to the President's Honor Roll.
This marks the 36th consecutive semester that North Dakota student-athletes have posted an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher -- a streak that spans back the entirety of the department's Division I tenure (2008-present).
