Alerus Center Quick Facts:
First Season of Football - 2001
Capacity - 12,283
Record Attendance - 13,500 (Oct. 6, 2001 vs. North Dakota State)

North Dakota plays its football home games at the Alerus Center - a 12,283-seat stadium located just minutes from the UND campus in Grand Forks.

The Alerus Center features a Kiefler USA playing surface which was installed prior to the 2020 season that allows for permanent field coverage and the best surface in the FCS. Locker rooms are adorned in UND colors and are divided into four 25-locker sections. There are also dressing rooms for coaches and officials. State-ofthe-art scoreboards, 15-by-30 Daktronics video replay boards and a BOSE sound system make the stadium one of the most exciting places in the nation to watch Football Championship Subdivision football.

Over 1.3 million fans have seen UND post a 119-36 record at the Alerus Center in its 25 seasons of existence. That mark includes an 11-2 postseason record and a school record 23-game home winning streak from 2002 to 2005.

The Alerus Center is one of the toughest places to play in the country, with North Dakota having won 34 of its last 41 games at home. Two of those home losses in that span came to the eventual national champion (NDSU in 2021 and SDSU in 2022). Since 2016, MVFC opponents are 6-20 inside the Alerus Center and UND is 12-7 at home against ranked teams since 2019.
