One year after leading UND to its best season at the DI level,
Taylor Nadler (NOD-ler) has moved from player to coach in a volunteer capacity in 2018-19. This upcoming season will be her third on the coaching staff for the Fighting Hawks.
In her final year as a player at North Dakota, the New Haven, Mo., native was a force on the diamond for the Fighting Hawks leading the team in hits (53), doubles (16), RBIs (32), total bases (87), walks (18), slugging percentage (.534), on-base percentage (.393), and average (.365). Nadler also finished second in triples (3), second in home runs (4), was a perfect 6-for-6 in attempted steals, and finished with 47 putouts for a 1.000 fielding percentage. The 2018 Big Sky Scholar-Athlete of the Year was one of only three players to start every game for UND last season and recorded 13 multi-hit contests.
