Ashley Langen

A former Fighting Sioux All-American for North Dakota, Ashley Langen joined the Fighting Sioux women's basketball staff in 2009 as the director of operations.

Langen, who played for head coach Gene Roebuck from 2004-08, closed out her career at UND as the program's second-highest scorer (2,078) and is one of two players (Jenny Crouse) to cross over the 2,000-point mark.

She also holds the record for most free throws made in a season with 114 her freshman year, is the leader in career free throws made with 468, and holds the single-season record with 330 rebounds in 2007-08.

During her senior year, Langen was named Daktronics first team All-American and Division II Bulletin second team All-American.

In August 2008, Langen traveled to Holland to play professionally.

Langen is pursuing a master's degree in special education at UND. She is a two-year partner with the Special Olympics.
