GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The Fighting Sioux will usher in their first meet of 2009 on Friday when they play host to the South Dakota Coyotes. The dual meet, which will be held at the Hyslop Pool, will begin at 2 p.m.

"This is our final swim meet before swimming at Conference USA, so I expect that our team will be swimming fast," said head coach Maviael Sampaio. "This is a great meet for our fans to come out and cheer the team on."

The Fighting Sioux will pay tribute to the senior class at the meet, which is their final home event of the season. The UND diving team will participate in the USD Diving Invite Feb. 6-7 in Vermillion, S.D. before preparing for the Conference USA Championship.
