UND finishes first day at Iowa State Classic

AMES, Iowa-- The University of North Dakota had two members of the women's track and field team place in the top 10 at the Iowa State Track and Field Classic Friday.

Jessica Butler (Jr., Grand Rapids, Minn.) placed fourth in the women's high jump with a jump of 5-02.25 feet (1.58 meters).

Senior Kate LaRoche (Faribault, Minn.) finished eighth in the women's pole vault event with a jump of 11.05.75 feet (3.50 meters).

The women's distance medley team of Emily Emerson (So., Lino Lakes, Minn.), Kristen Haas (Fr. Belgrade, Mont.), Megan Enabnit (So., Carmichael, Calif.) and Katherine Enabnit (So. Carmichael, Calif.) placed 17th with time of 12:31.51.
