Halli Krzyzaniak helped Team Canada to a 3-2 victory over the United States in preliminary action at the 2014 Four Nations Cup on Wednesday in Kamloops, British Columbia.
Canada beat the U.S. using two late goals to win in comeback fashion. Former UND forward
Monique Lamoureux assisted on a goal to put the U.S. up 2-1 in the second period, but the Americans could not hold off a Canadian rally.
Krzyzaniak recorded her first career international point, assisting on the winning goal with just 4:11 remaining in regulation. She was on the ice for all three of Canada's goals and registered a +1 plus/minus rating.
Additionally at the tournament, Finland defeated Sweden, 1-0, on Wednesday. Former UND forward
Susanna Tapani recorded an assist on the winning goal.
