Three selected to train at Canada's Spring Camp

GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Three UND women's hockey student-athletes have been selected to attend to attend Hockey Canada's National Women's Strength and Conditioning Camp, taking place May 7-11 at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

Sophomore forwards Meghan Dufault and Becca Kohler along with freshman defenseman Halli Krzyzaniak were among the 49 named to the camp's roster.

This spring's strength and conditioning camp marks the first National Women's Program activity for the 2014-15 season, as well as the first big step on the road to the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. Players selected for this camp are in consideration for the Canadian teams that will compete at the 2015 Meco Cup, an international tournament featuring Europe's top senior women's teams; as well as competitions with Canada's National Women's Team.

The camp includes both on- and off-ice sessions, while also introducing and reiterating Hockey Canada's expectations in areas such as nutrition, mental conditioning, physical fitness, testing, training and other positive daily behaviors.

The roster includes a total of 11 student-athletes that play for teams in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
