GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The University of North Dakota women's hockey team received a total of 62 points, staying at the No. 8 spot, in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll.
North Dakota went undefeated over the past weekend, beating and tying St. Cloud State on the road over Oct. 23-24.
Upcoming opponent Minnesota remains the No. 1 team in the poll, but Boston College earned two first-place votes to mark the first time this season that Minnesota was not that unanimous top pick.
Wisconsin fell to third-place, just five points behind BC, despite sweeping No. 6 Bemidji State at home last weekend.
UND takes on the Gophers this week in a Thursday-Friday matchup at Ralph Engelstad Arena. Both games are set to begin at 7:07 p.m. (CT), and Friday's contest will serve as UND's annual 'Pack The Ralph' event.
