GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- On the heels of a six-game unbeaten streak, the North Dakota women's hockey team checked in at No. 8 in the latest
USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll released on Tuesday.
In the span of those six games, UND has gone 3-0-1 against nationally ranked opponents and swept Bemidji State, which was receive votes in the polls. UND returned to the poll after a nine-week absence, and knocked out Clarkson from the No. 8 spot, with the remainder of the poll unchanged from the previous week. North Dakota was last ranked in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll on Oct. 25 at No. 10.
Additionally, North Dakota received 14 votes, sitting just outside the top 10 in the USCHO.com poll that was released on Monday.
