GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota women's hockey team earned 40 points to remain in the No. 9 spot in this week's USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll.

The Western Collegiate Hockey Association held onto the top-three spots in the poll, with Wisconsin, Minnesota and Minnesota Duluth falling in rank. The Fighting Hawks are the only other member of the WCHA to appear in the poll.

North Dakota finishes its third-consecutive week of competition against nationally-ranked opponents, hosting No. 2 Minnesota this weekend, Nov. 18-19, at Ralph Engelstad Arena. Friday's game will also serve as the annual “Pack The Ralph” event and the opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. (CT).
