GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Due to treacherous travel conditions following a winter weather event throughout the Upper Midwest, the Summit League has announced that North Dakota's contest vs. Purdue Fort Wayne, originally scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m., has been postponed until Saturday, December 29 at noon.
The conference has also postponed tonight's North Dakota State-South Dakota tilt until tomorrow at noon due to the tough conditions. With the NDSU/USD game also slated to start at noon, the Fighting Hawks and Mastodons are still scheduled to be broadcast on MidcoSN2 tomorrow from the Betty.
"We made these adjustments with the safety and welfare of our student-athletes and basketball staffs in mind," Summit League Commissioner Tom Douple said in a release earlier today. "We appreciate everyone's cooperation in making these changes."
Saturday is the first conference game for North Dakota as a member of The Summit League.
