HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo.-- Ryan Riihinen's final-round one-under 70 highlighted the University of North Dakota's efforts at the Ron Moore Invitational Friday through Sunday at Highlands Ranch Golf Club. Riihinen's 70 marked a new career low as he blistered the front nine in two-under on the way to four birdies in his first 10 holes Sunday.

Riihinen totaled three-under on the course's par-fives, averaging 4.67 per hole. For the tournament, Riihinen tied with Jackson Davis, who carded team-lows on Friday and Saturday with 75s for a +15 through 54 holes.

Cole Johnson recorded five birdies on Sunday, navigating through nine holes above par en route to a final-round 78. He would pace the Fighting Hawks with 10 pars for the tournament.

Kessler Heilman made his collegiate debut, going 84-78-82. His Saturday round the most consistency with a dozen pars.

Patrick Traynor shrugged off a five-over front nine Saturday to shoot even par the rest of the way for a middle-round 76.

The Fighting Hawks finished ninth as a team. UND is next in action in a little over a week, heading to Dickson, Tenn., for the F&M Bank Austin Peay State Intercollegiate to wrap up the fall schedule.
