CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Concluding a stretch of three matches across the state of Tennessee in less than 72 hours, the University of North Dakota men's tennis team fell, 7-0, to Chattanooga on Sunday morning.

The Mocs (5-4) claimed all six singles matches while also claiming the doubles point to collect the victory and send the Fighting Hawks (3-3) home with a 1-2 record on the road trip.

In doubles play, the duo of
Jake Kuhlman and
Chuck Tang picked up another win on the No. 3 court to level the score at one apiece, but a 6-4 triumph on the top court gave Chattanooga the early 1-0 lead.

From there, the Mocs were able to win matches on the No. 4, 3, 1, and 5 courts in straight sets to clinch the overall victory, but the No. 2 and 6 positions were highly contested as
Lukas Buth and
Pavle Drobnjakovic both forced three sets with victories in the second frame.

North Dakota returns to action next Saturday with a pair of matches in the state of Nebraska. First, UND will battle Nebraska at 9 a.m. before closing the day with Drake at 1 p.m.
