SAN MARCOS, Texas/DES MOINES, Iowa – With three new performances in the North Dakota record book, members of the Fighting Hawks men's and women's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams moved into prime position in the University of North Dakota's all-time top-10.
James Hollister,
Oluwaseyi Aguda, Cade Peterson and
Ethan Buckles moved into No. 2 all-time in Fighting Hawk history in the men's 4x100-meter relay, clocking a 41.72 to finish third overall in the competition.
Erin Brown also just fall shy of top-billing in the UND annals as she ran a 14.29 in the 100-meter hurdles. In the men's 110-meter hurdles, Mitchel Wangler clocked a 14.84 to move up to sixth in the UND annals and improve his personal record by .28.
The women's 4x100-meter relay team, comprised of
Mosetta Bodah,
Heather Harrower,
Lucy Steinmeyer and
Jasmine Hill-Durand, followed suit and moved into seventh all-time at UND with a time of 48.64, the team's best effort of the season. The women's 4x400-meter relay team also moved into the top-10 with its 3:55.04 performance. The group featured Hill-Durand, Megan Janssen, Steinmeyer and Harrower.
Erica Eades finished fourth overall in the 800-meters, clocking a time of 2:12.89, just shy of setting a new personal-best.
The Fighting Hawks will return to action Saturday, April 6 for the USD Challenge in Vermillion, S.D.
