Wisconsin sweeps UND, 4-0

MADISON, Wis. -- Facing off against one of the Upper Midwest's top programs, the University of North Dakota men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to Wisconsin on Sunday morning in Madison.

UND (0-2) had leads on a pair of singles court as play was called, but the Badgers (3-0) claimed a trio of wins in singles play and the doubles point to collect the 4-0 win.

Andreja Petrovic continued the strong start to his collegiate career from the top spot, winning the first set of his match, 6-4, before play was halted. Fellow newcomer Johnatan Parat, who also picked his first win in a UND uniform last night vs. Northern Illinois, won his first set, 7-5, at the No. 4 position when the match was called.

North Dakota will head to the Windy City for a pair of contests next weekend, starting with Eastern Illinois (Jan. 31) before battling Chicago State (Feb. 1) and Illinois-Chicago (Feb. 2).
