Omaha, Neb. – North Dakota Volleyball fell in three sets to Omaha (25-13, 25-17, 25-16).

Ashlyn Olson started hot offensively for North Dakota recording two kills on her first four swings.  Despite the early kills for Olson, the Mavericks would claim the first set 25-13. 
In the second set The Fighting Hawks built a 14-11 lead behind the strong play of Maddy Hornyak who had three kills in the set's first 12 rallies.  Omaha would go on to win the second set 25-17.

At intermission, Taylor Pribyl led North Dakota with five kills. 

In the third set the Hawks jumped out to a 3-0 lead which included a kill from Sofia Hedqvist.  Hornyak put two aces on the board in the third, but it wasn't enough as Omaha was victorious in the third 25-16.

Hornyak led the Hawks with seven kills while also contributing seven digs and adding two aces and two assists.

Madi Hart led North Dakota with 11 digs while McCallister Gayle was in on three blocks.

The Hawks return home next Saturday night for a tilt with in-state rival North Dakota State.  The match will begin at 7 p.m.
