Grand Forks N.D. – The University of North Dakota athletics department announced six additional games to complete the 2021-2022 television schedule.  Three men's basketball games, two women's basketball contests and one volleyball tilt will be produced and aired live on Bally Sports North.

"We are excited about and thankful for our partnership with both of our television partners Midco Sports and Bally Sports North," athletic director Bill Chaves said.  "Together they provide a strong television presence showcasing our student-athletes and coaches while providing great access to our fans across the region."

2021-2022 is the eighth season North Dakota athletics has partnered with Bally Sports North, formerly FOX Sports North.  The games are produced by University of North Dakota students and staff out of the control room in The Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.  UND students gain real world live television production experience while generating exposure for UND student-athletes and coaches.

A veteran line up of talent and production professionals anchor the Bally Sports North coverage including Mitch Wigness, Ryan Cunningham and Kyle Doperalski on play-by-play duties and Zach Dosch, Angie Stokke and Val Sussex as analysts.  David Folske will serve as producer and Derek Korczak will direct the broadcasts.  Assistant athletic director for video production Cassie Niles will also provide support for the broadcasts.

These added productions augment an already robust television schedule produced by Midco Sports, the second-tier rights holder for North Dakota Athletics.
