COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- No. 7 North Dakota will look to close out the first half of the regular season in the same place it ended the 2020-21 year, in first place of the NCHC standings with a final showdown at Colorado College on Saturday from Ed Robson Arena in Colorado Springs.
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio, FightingHawks and Varsity Network apps. The flagship station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action. Tonight's game can also be seen on NCHC.tv.
Saturday will be the 263rd all-time meeting between North Dakota and Colorado College, with UND holding a 167-84-11 advantage in the series.
The teams met four times last season, with the Fighting Hawks sweeping all four contests against the Tigers. UND finished with a 14-2 scoring advantage in those four games.
Last year's sweep at CC was the first since 2015 and only the sixth since 1990.
The 167 wins over Colorado College are the most over a single opponent in the history of the program.
