No. 5 North Dakota, No. 14 Cornell set for first matchup since 2010

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The final weekend of non-conference play for the 2021-22 season begins on Friday night, as No. 5 North Dakota hosts No. 14 Cornell at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio, FightingHawks and Varsity Network apps. The flagship station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy calls the action.
Both games can be seen live on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt calling the action. Fans can also watch the game on NCHC.tv with a subscription.
Tickets are still available for this weekend's top-15 showdown between UND and the Big Red. Special ticket rates are available through Ticketmaster and the Ralph Engelstad Arena Box Office.
Friday will be the ninth all-time meeting between North Dakota and Cornell, with UND leading the series 5-3-0.
It's been over a decade since the programs last met, with the pair splitting at Cornell during the 2009-10 season.
The last visit to Grand Forks by the Big Red was on Nov. 28-29, 2008, when the Fighting Sioux rolled to a 7-3 win on Friday thanks to five points (1g, 4a) from Chay Genoway before Cornell answered with a 2-1 victory on Saturday.
