AZUSA, Calif. – North Dakota wrapped up the Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday with a handful of Hawks competing in the final day of the meet, which wrapped up in the early minutes of Saturday morning in North Dakota time.
Natalie Mohring had the top performance for UND of the day, taking fifth in the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 181-0 (55.18m). That throw moved Mohring into the No. 9 spot on the UND top-10 list.
Jennifer Parent also led the Hawks on Friday with the top UND marks in three field events: javelin (101-2, 30.84m), long jump (19-0 1/2, 5.80m) and triple jump (38-9 1/2, 11.82m).
Aleece Durbin had the fastest time for North Dakota on the track on Friday with a time of 14.96 to lead the Hawks in the 100-meter hurdles.
Mackenzie Severson also ran a personal-best time of 15.74 in the event.
The Fighting Hawks will travel to Vermillion to compete in the South Dakota Challenge on April 22-23.
