DES MOINES, Iowa – The North Dakota track and field teams concluded the Drake Relays on Saturday, adding one new mark to the UND top-10 chart on the final day of the meet.
The men's distance medley relay team of
Alec Nelson,
Jory Vasek,
Matt Russell and
Luke Labatte ran a time of 10:18.13, moving up to No. 5 all-time in school history.
The women's distance medley squad of
Conny Wohlfahrt,
Courtney Werner,
Michaela Oosthuizen and
Jadyn Keeler ran a time of 12:13.24, falling less than two seconds shy of the UND record books.
The 4x400-meter relay team of
Mackenzie Severson, Oosthuizen,
Brooklynn Gould and Werner also barely missed the UND top-10 list, running a combined time of 3:55.36, missing the list by less than three seconds.
North Dakota will next visit Tulsa, Okla., for the Summit League Outdoor Championships on May 12-14.
