The Fighting Hawks fell to the Jackrabbits this past weekend. South Dakota State fell in the doubleheader with a first game score of 6-0 and second game score of 2-0. North Dakota fell in the third game of the day 6-1 to end the weekend 4-16 in conference play and to move to 14-38 for the regular season.Â

The Fighting Hawks return to the Summit League Championships as the No. 6 seed. They will face their inner-state rival North Dakota State in the first round. This will be the second-straight season that they will face each other in the first round. The game will take place at 4:30 PM CT in Brookings, S.D.

With the movement of the USD series to Vermillion and the NDSU series to Fargo, UND has added five more games away from Apollo. The Fighting Hawks have played 38 straight away games since the season began. By the time the season is over, and it is all said and done, the green and white will have played 49 games away from Grand Forks. They were only able to play three games at Apollo.
