NOTES: Top-ranked UND invites Bemidji State across Highway 2 for Thanksgiving series

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Top-ranked North Dakota closes out the month of November with a home series against Bemidji State beginning Friday at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy and Mike LaMoine calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey.  

Friday's game can be seen on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt calling the action. Taylor Budge and Erik Fabian join the crew as the pregame, intermission and postgame hosts.  Fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday will be the 48th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Bemidji State, with UND holding a 35-5-7 advantage in the series.

The Beavers and Fighting Hawks met last season in a home-and-home, with the teams playing to a tie in Bemidji and UND notching a 4-2 victory in Saturday's finale at home.
UND owns an .819 all-time winning percentage against Bemidji State in its history, the third-highest over any singluar opponent with 10-or-more games played (.900 vs. RPI, .875 vs. St. Lawrence).
