NOTES: UND, Colorado College battle in penultimate series

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Heading into the penultimate weekend of the regular season, North Dakota hits the road to battle Colorado College on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. (CT) from Ed Robson Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo. 

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy and Darrin Looker calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey.   

Friday's game can be seen on AT&T Sportsnet or fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday will be the 268th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Colorado College, with UND holding a 172-84-11 advantage in the series.  

This will be the first meeting of the season between the two sides, but UND took all six contests last season, including a sweep in the NCHC Quarterfinals.  

The 172 wins over Colorado College are the most over a single opponent in the history of the program.  

UND has won 13 straight over CC.
