GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The national television packages for the Mountain West Conference were announced Wednesday, with the North Dakota at Boise State game included in the announcement. The two squads will meet on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 11 a.m. (CT) and the game will air on Fox Sports 1.
Boise State will be the eighth team from the current Mountain West Conference to be featured on a North Dakota schedule. Most recently, the Fighting Hawks visited Utah State on Sept. 10, 2021, and fell 48-24. North Dakota's lone win over a FBS opponent is also a Mountain West member, with North Dakota taking down Wyoming, 24-13, in Laramie on Sept. 5, 2015.
The Sept. 16 game will mark the first meeting between North Dakota and Boise State and it will mark UND's first time playing on the blue turf. The last time the Fighting Hawks played on a different colored playing surface was Sept. 28, 2019, when North Dakota visited Eastern Washington and played on red turf.
