GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The best of the 2022-23 UND Athletics season was celebrated on Wednesday night in the annual Night of Champions from the historic Empire Arts Center in Downtown Grand Forks.
Multiple student-athletes and teams were honored for their work in the classroom, in our community and on the playing surface in front of their peers, coaching staffs, administrators and special guests in an event that was kicked off by Director of Athletics Bill Chaves.
"This is always such a special night," said Chaves in his opening address. "While we will only have one winner from every category, the work you all put into being a complete student-athlete makes everyone seated in this place a winner and proud representatives of UND."
Nominations for each award were submitted by each team's head coach, while the winners were voted upon by head coaches, athletics support staff and members of the Student-Athlete Leadership Council (SALC). Each award finalists are listed below with the winner in
