NOTES: No. 3 BU, No. 7 UND to meet in critical October series

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – It's another ranked showdown for No. 7 North Dakota, as the Fighting Hawks are set to host No. 3 Boston University beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.
 
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy and Mike LaMoine calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey. 
 
Friday's game can be seen on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jim Scanlan calling the action. Taylor Budge and Monique Lamoureux-Morando join the crew as the pregame, intermission and postgame hosts.  Fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday marks the 28th all-time meeting between North Dakota and Boston University, with UND holding a 13-12-2 mark.
 
The two teams met last season in a thrilling series in Beantown, with BU claiming the opener, 3-2, and UND responding with a 5-4 overtime win on Saturday.
 
This weekend marks the first visit for BU to Grand Forks since Nov. 2-3, 2012 when the two sides played to yet another series split.
