Sacha Boisvert earns NCHC Rookie of the Week honors for second time

| By:
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second time this month, freshman forward Sacha Boisvert was named NCHC Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Boisvert was crucial in helping North Dakota notch a sweep over Robert Morris, tallying two goals and an assist over the weekend. The Chicago Blackhawks selection recorded his fourth multi-point game of the season on Friday, scoring a power play goal in the third period and notching an assist on Jayden Perron's overtime winner to secure the 4-3 victory. Boisvert found the scoresheet again in the finale, scoring the game's only goal to give him tallies in three straight games in the 1-0 win.

The rookie was also strong in the dot, finishing with an 11-9 mark, including a 4-1 night on Saturday. Boisvert currently paces the squad with 11 points and sits tied for the team lead with five goals. His 11 points and five goals also sit tied for second among rookies in the NCHC and top-10 nationally.

North Dakota will close out nonconference play against Bemidji State this weekend in a home-and-home series beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from the Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minn.
