| By:

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota head hockey coach Brad Berry announced on Wednesday that forward Carter Wilkie will play his final year of eligibility at UND in 2024-25.

Wilkie spent his last three seasons with RIT, exiting eighth in the program's history with 111 points on 43 goals and 68 assists. The Calgary, Alberta, native was the fourth-fastest Tiger to hit the 100-point mark, doing so in just 107 games while also becoming only the third RIT player to score 40 points in back-to-back seasons to earn back-to-back All-Atlantic Hockey First Team honors.

He finished first on the squad with 41 points last season, potting 16 goals and adding 25 assists to help the Tigers capture the AHA regular season and tournament titles as well as advance to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2016.

A standout in the faceoff dot, Wilkie finished second nationally with 566 victories and reached double-digit wins in 38 of the 40 games he appeared this past season, including a trio of 20-win games.

Wilkie is a two-time AHA All-Academic Team selection and is expected to pursue general studies at North Dakota.
