ASHLAND, Ohio – A pair of throwers from North Dakota wrapped up competition at the Ashland Alumni Invitational on Saturday afternoon and placed four times in invitational throwing sections.
Kenna Curry was the runner-up in the invitational shot put with a throw of 49-1 1/2 (14.97m). Earlier in the afternoon, she finished fourth in the invitational discus with a mark of 150-10 (45.98m).
Eve Goldstein placed fourth in the invitational shot put with a toss of 47-10 3/4 (14.60m). She also took part in the invitational discus and finished sixth with a throw of 135-10 (41.42m).
North Dakota is slated to conclude its regular season on Friday at the NDSU Tune-Up.
