MOBILE, Ala. - North Dakota wide receiver Bo Belquist was named to the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist on Wednesday morning.

The Reese's Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL draft process. The longest continual running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Ala., the past 25 years. This past April, the game produced 110 total picks, representing 43 percent of the entire NFL Draft. This year's game will be held on Feb. 1, 2025, and will air on the NFL Network.

Belquist has already received four major preseason honors, garnering Third Team Phil Steele Preseason All-America honors, Stats Perform FCS Second Team Preseason All-America accolades, Preseason All-MVFC status as both a first team wide receiver and honorable mention all-purpose player, and was selected as a first team wide receiver on the Phil Steele Preseason All-MVFC Team.

The New Rockford, N.D., native is coming off a stellar season in 2023, where he started 10 games at wide receiver and appeared in every contest. He led the team and ranked No. 25 nationally in receptions per game (5.5). Belquist also tied for No. 5 in the MVFC in receiving touchdowns (6), was No. 6 in the league in total receiving yards (772) and No. 7 in receiving yards per game (64.3). His marks in receptions, receiving yardage, touchdown grabs and receiving yards per game also led the team. He finished the year with three 100-yard receiving performances, putting up 110 yards in the 55-7 drubbing of Drake, recording 123 yards in the 37-22 Potato Bowl victory over Northern Arizona and racking up 101 yards receiving in the 36-33 overtime win over Indiana State. He also led the team in chunk plays with 12 plays of 20 yards or more. Belquist served as a team captain in 2023 and ended the year with Second Team All-MVFC recognition.

Belquist and the Fighting Hawks will open the season on Saturday, Aug. 31, visiting the Cyclones of Iowa State. Kickoff between UND and ISU is slated for 2:30 p.m. (CT). The game will air on FS1 and will be carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network.
