GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota men's basketball team defeated Jamestown 82-61 on Saturday in an exhibition game from The Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.

The Hawks trailed by as many as six points in the first half but closed out the half on a 14-0 run to take a 39-28 lead going into the locker room. UND carried the momentum into the second half, leading by as many as 27 in route to the victory.

Six different Hawks scored in double-figures, led by George Natsvlishvili, Marley Curtis and Garett Anderson who all had 12 points apiece. Anthony Smith lll contributed on both sides of the court, bringing major energy off the bench with 11 points and multiple steals. Greyson Uelmen and Zach Kraft each had 10 points, while Matthew Bothun had seven, Anthony Doppler had four, and Wylee Delorme/Ryan Erikson each had two.

The Hawks connected on 28 field goal attempts, with three of them being from behind-the-arc. Kraft connected on two from deep and Bothun hit one.

North Dakota will be back in action for a second exhibition game next Saturday on the road against Minnesota at 2 p.m. Coverage can be found on Big 10 Network Plus and Fighting Hawks Radio.
