Keeler garners Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week accolades

| By:
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the fourth time this cross country season, North Dakota distance runner Jadyn Keeler earned the title of Kwik Star Summit League Women's Peak Performer of the Week on Tuesday.

Keeler placed third in the women's 6K at Texas A&M on Friday morning with a personal-best time of 19:08.2. That time smashed the previous Summit League 6K record time of 20:06.8. Keeler, who won the Roy Griak Invitational last month, recorded the second-best individual finish at a Power 4 meet in program history with her third-place finish.

Paced by Keeler's finish, the Fighting Hawks placed seventh (219 points) in the 6K and beat out the Power 4 schools of Oklahoma, Ohio State, Texas Tech, Houston, Baylor and TCU. It was the top finish for the UND women at the meet in school history.

Keeler and the Fighting Hawks will have an open week this weekend before visiting Omaha, Neb., for the Summit League Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1.
