NOTES: No. 18 NoDak, Omaha tussle in crucial final weekend

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – It's the final weekend of the regular season, as No. 18 North Dakota returns home to battle Omaha for a series beginning on Friday night at 6:36 p.m. (CT) from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.
 
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, who is in his 45th year on the mic for UND hockey, and Mike LaMoine calling the action. Friday's game can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of North Dakota hockey. 
 
Friday's game can be seen on CBS Sports Network with Alex Heinert and Dave Starman calling the action. Shireen Starman joins the crew as the pregame, intermission and postgame hosts. Fans will be unable to watch Friday's game on NCHC.tv due to national broadcasting rights.

Friday will be the 61st all-time meeting between North Dakota and Omaha, with UND holding a 36-22-2 advantage in the series.
 
The first team to score a goal in the contest has won 28 of the last 33 games in the series.
 
Last season, Omaha won four of the five meetings between the two sides, including the NCHC Frozen Faceoff Semifinal matchup in St. Paul.
