SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The University of North Dakota football program was picked to finish seventh in the annual Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) preseason poll, as announced by the conference on Monday.  A panel of league coaches, communications directors, and media conducted the voting.  
In addition to the poll, the MVFC also released a  player "Watch List" to highlight the league's top student-athletes heading into fall camp. The list features running backs 
Sawyer Seidl and 
Gaven Ziebarth as well as offensive linemen 
Seth Anderson, 
Liam Becher and 
Ben Buxa on the offensive side while linebackers 
Malachi McNeal and 
Lance Rucker alongside defensive back 
Zach Lewis were highlighted on defense. 
North Dakota is slated to open the regular season on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Kansas State at 6 p.m. from Manhattan, Kan.
