SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The North Dakota softball continues its season in San Diego this weekend, playing five games at SDSU Softball Stadium. The Hawks will play two games on Friday against Fordham (4 p.m.) and San Diego State (9 p.m.), two games on Saturday against Baylor (1:30 p.m.) and Oregon State (6:30 p.m.). before finishing off on Sunday against Fordham at 12 p.m.
The Hawks enter this weekend with a 2-3 record, coming from Honolulu, Hawai'i last week. NoDak was able to pick up two wins against Pacific at Rainbow Wahine Stadium, while falling to Seattle twice and Hawai'i once.
UND is 0-4 all-time against the squads at the Campbell/Cartier Classic, holding an 0-1 record against both Baylor and Oregon State, while being 0-2 against San Diego State. North Dakota will take on Fordham for the first time in program history.
Pre-Tournament Notes
- The Hawks started the season 1-0 for the first time since 2019
- Hailey Bethune and Camryn Lasota are each hitting .417 on the season, combining to be 10-of-24 on the season, each having a home run
- Bethune hit her first career grand slam, the first four-run home run since the 2023 season
- Tegan Livesay has allowed zero earned runs over her last 10.0 innings pitched
- Lasota has four extra base hits this season
- Brooklyn Morris swatted her first career home run against Pacific on Feb. 5
- NoDak is hitting for a .273 batting average through five games
