Dennis Hutter has added another signee to the incoming 2026-27 class of Fighting Hawks, welcoming transfer guard Ciona Wells from Western Oregon to Grand Forks.

Appeared in 54 games with 38 starts in two seasons at Western Oregon…averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds during her time with the Wolves…was top two in the country in assist-to-turnover ratio…registered a career-high 21 points against Alaksa Fairbanks on Feb 28…helped lead team to first-ever post-season win in program history…earned GNAC Honorable Mention honors and is a two-time GNAC All-Academic recipient…Valedictorian of Lincoln High Class of 2024
