NEW ORLEANS, La. – The North Dakota men's and women's track & field program were recognized on Monday afternoon by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association with All-Academic honors for the 2025-26 season, officials announced.
 
Eight Fighting Hawks earned individual recognitions as All-Academic Athletes while both the men's and women's programs were honored as All-Academic Teams. The accolades were secured as the men maintained a 3.42 cumulative team grade point average and the women held a team GPA of 3.72, which tied for sixth in the country.
 
Individually, Shane Zierden represented the UND men with his All-Academic Athlete honor as Frida Giersdorff, Jadyn Keeler, Marta Marksa, Julia Matthews, Cailey Moton, Naja Weiler and Anya Williams were honored for the women.
 
To qualify for individual USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale while also meeting one of the following athletics criteria:

• for the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event or in the top 48 in any championship relay event
• for the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships or must have finished the season ranked in the top 48 in the East or top 48 in the West for the most recent outdoor season
