Softball Earns NFCA Academic Team Award, 20 Fighting Hawks Named Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of North Dakota softball team was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Academic Team for the 2025-26 school year. The squad posted a 3.546 GPA to earn the award.

Along with the team award, 20 Fighting Hawks were named an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete. Student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale to earn the award.

This is the sixth-straight year under head coach Jordan Stevens that UND has placed ten or more student-athletes on the list. Since Stevens first year with the program in 2015, UND have totaled 129 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete selections.
