MANHATTAN, Kan. – Behind a steady performance from returning standout Nathan Peyerl, the University of North Dakota men's golf team sits 13th after 36 holes at the Wildcat Invitational on Monday at Colbert Hills Golf Course.

UND carded rounds of 302 and 313 to finish the day at 615, while host Kansas State's tournament features all but one Summit League program in the field. The Fighting Hawks enter Tuesday's final round three shots ahead of North Dakota State.

Peyerl, who posted the best single-season scoring average in program history in 2025-26, paced North Dakota with a 36-hole total of 152 after rounds of 76 and 76. The senior was the only Fighting Hawk to record both rounds in the 70s and highlighted his afternoon with an eagle on the par-4 13th hole.

Tucker D'Allaird turned in UND's low round of the day with an even-par 72 in the opening round, matching the second-lowest 18-hole score of his career. D'Allaird sits tied for 45th at 153.

Kagan Kollar is one stroke back of D'Allaird after bouncing back with a team-best 75 in the second round, while Carson Skarperud opened the event with a 75 of his own and is tied for 56th. Carver Larson rounds out the North Dakota lineup.

St. Thomas leads the team standings at 583 through two rounds, with Kansas State second at 589 and South Dakota State third at 595.

The final round of the Wildcat Invitational begins Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
