GRAND FORKS, N.D. – University of North Dakota Athletics and Fighting Hawks Sports Partnerships announced on Monday the radio and television broadcast plans for the 2026-27 North Dakota hockey season.
 
All UND hockey games, home and away, will once again be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app. Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy will return for his 47th-and-final season on the mic for all UND home games as well as select postseason contests, while Darrin Looker will once again call all road UND matchups. The duo will be joined for the fourth straight season by 1987 national champion Mike LaMoine as the color analyst.
 
Midco Sports returns as the television home for all home North Dakota hockey contests, as well as the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game with Michigan State on Oct. 31 in Austin, Texas. Alex Heinert (play-by-play) and Jim Scanlan (color analyst) will once again headline the broadcast team, with Taylor Budge returning as the pregame, intermission and postgame host. She will be joined at the desk by a bevy of talent, including Erik Fabian, Monique Lamoureux-Morando, Dean Barsness and Brett Hextall.
 
North Dakota will open the 2026-27 season with a pair of exhibition contests against Augustana (Oct. 3) and Manitoba (Oct. 4) from Ralph Engelstad Arena. Puck drop is set for 6:07 and 3:07, respectively.
