Made 11 total tackles, forced a fumble and recovered aa fumble at Mesa State...Earned seond letter.
2002: Played in all 11 games, solidifying himself in the starting lineup midway through the season... scored two touchdowns, scouping up a blocked punt for a 3 yard score vs Mesa State as well as a 79 yard fumble return vs Nebraska Omaha... HAd career game in the UNO contest, tallying nine tackles along with the rumble return... Racked up 44 total tackles, the sixth best total on the team... Tied for the team lead with two interceptions... Registered 4.5 tackles for loss for -13 yards... Used first start to gather six tackles and a interceeption vs St. Cloud State... Earned first letter.

Before UND: A 2001 Red Lake Falls High School graduate... Played tailback and safety in High school... Had outstanding high school career with over 3500 yards rushing... Had 224 carries for 1827 yards and 23 touchdowns... On defence, led the team with 64 tackles... All conference and Team Captain... Led the team to a 8-2 recird in 2001.
